FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. FTP client software
allows you to transfer files between your hard drive
and a remote server. For instance, you can load you

server by transferring files from your hard drive directly
to our server. FTP also allows you to donwload programs
from your favourite shareware site-fast!

We
have numerous, customizable CGI scripts preinstalled
on the server for you to use with your account. The
only thing you'll need to do is select the script, select
the colours, style, etc., and click the "Make HTML"
button. You can then paste the HTML output into any
of your webpages for immediate use..
All accounts received the following scripts pre-installed:
- Simple CGI Wrapper - run CGI scripts with your userid.
- Random HTML Generator - picks an HTML string out
of a list and inserts it into an SSI enabled webpage
(Useful for "Quote of the Moment" and similar

- CGI-Email - email results from a form posted on
your website to your email address.
- FormMail Clone - works similarly to CGI email, but
the version is a clone of Matt Wright's popular FormMail

email control panel allows instant creation of POP3
account, forwarding addresses, and aliases.
A POP3 account is a stand-alone incoming email account.
By creating john@yourdomain.com account. The user, john@yourdomain.com,
then checks this email account by logging in to http://www.yourdomain.com/webmail
using his username and password. POP3 accounts are compatible
with any email software available in the market, such
as Microsoft Outlook or Eudora.

Provides access to many different programs which analyze
your access logs and show more information about your
website's traffic.
You may view your site statistics with
awstats,
a program that provides a graphical representation
of your statistics, organized by months.
There is also a Last 100 Users features
which reveals the specific searches for information
on your website of the last 100 website visitors. This
feature is helpful for observing how a recent change
is being incorporated (or not) by your website's viewers.
You can also learn which search engine led them to your
website and how long they stayed.
Finally, you have access to your Raw Access
Logs. These logs are the basis upon which the
statistics programs generate reports. The logs record
all activity at your website.
*Stats maybe cleared periodically from the server,
so we strongly recommend saving a copy of your statistics on
your computer as a permanent record.

your primary account password. EasyHosting
recommends changing this password at least once a month,
and especially when employees with password access leave
your business.

Modifies
the files in your website in real-time via a web-based
interface. You can perform many commands, such as chmod
and actually editing the file and saving it directly

is permanently disabled in Cpanel. The
high volume of traffic generated by chat hosted on our

If you would like to use chat, there are remotely hosted
chat sites on the Internet that you can link through your
